One of the prestigious festivals of our Teak Town is "VETTAKKORUMAKAN TEMPLE KALAM PAATTU". This festival comes in the month of January every year (Temple festival dates are from January 04 to January 09 each year.) This festival includes a big CARNIVAL SHOW, which takes place near the temple. This Carnival is organized by NILAMBUR GRAMA PANCHAYAT and the surrounding people with the help of Nilambur shops and other establishments. The Carnival dates are from January 04 to January 15 (approx.) of every year.
NB: ONLY HINDUS ARE ALLOWED TO ENTER INSIDE THE TEMPLE
PREMISES.
